How factual errors, clarifications, and article updates are handled.
Correct the record
When a material factual error is confirmed, we correct it promptly and add a dated correction note that explains what changed. The note remains with the article. Minor spelling, formatting, or link repairs that do not change meaning may be fixed without a formal note.
Clarifications and updates
A clarification improves wording that was accurate but could be misunderstood. An update adds new material after publication. The article displays its original publication date and most recent material update date. Developing stories are rechecked against their primary sources.
How to request a correction
Send the article URL, the exact statement, the reason it is inaccurate, and supporting primary or authoritative evidence to the editorial mailbox once the final domain is active. Disagreement with an analysis is considered, but it is not automatically a factual correction.
